The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 出乎意料的真实感，有如回忆录般的旁白勾勒出美国60年代的社会与文化，同时也细致地描绘了南部城市孩子的少年生活写照，大概是“看情商正常的young sheldon出演阿甘正传”的感觉。后面阿波罗10号半与11号的登月经历交错剪辑得非常棒，站在stan的视角这段很动人，也喜欢最后睡着了没有看到“第一步”却又什么都经历了的处理方式。给编剧兼导演鼓掌👏🏻

黎明日落午夜的话痨导演，这部很好看，有着青春片特有的阳光明媚的伤感，一个真伪不重要的故事，牵扯着一个美国的黄金年代，缠绕，发展，无边无际。

放在现在的时代背景下看 颇有一种冷战要再续的感觉 1960-1970真的是回不去的gold old days了
能这样拍自己想拍的童年回忆录真的还挺满足的。 给那个时代做了一点自我刻画，还蛮不错的。挺轻松

使用太多种画法和风格用来表现不同阶段和时空，也导致了全片美术风格不太统一，感觉是由没有执导过动画的导演带来的问题～
浓浓怀旧风，过去许多单纯的美好再也回不去了。
我真的真的好久没看过这么欢乐的电影了，影厅里人不多，除了20多岁的年轻人就是40岁以上的叔叔阿姨们，大家都看得不亦乐乎，好爱这种氛围。

文学性很强，让人想到了《罗马》。对于往事，我越来越觉得，脑袋里空无一物起来，很羡慕那些能清晰描述自己往昔的人。
