The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 改成这种活泼现代的腔调也满可爱 但男主是否改的太傻开心了一点 既不unjust也不resentful 怪不得最后情书里我最喜欢的一句都被删掉了….

为了达科塔·约翰逊看得，服装，画面，色调还不错。
所谓的现代版改编难道只是选角上体现肤色平等，以及女主打破“第四面墙”的尴尬独白，就很不伦不类，真是糟糕的改编。男主像根木头，眼神空洞毫无魅力，演不出深情味道，男二又过于油腻浮夸。达妹无论是扮相或演技都没有一丝符合这个角色，全员劝退。
