The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 除了科普下Aretha Franklin基本人生事迹并没太多价值。ZZ正确式的人物塑造和叙事，人物转变别扭刻意，就像是在打牌一样（女＞男，黑＞白之类的单纯参数比较），而不是真正用心在讲故事、构建戏剧冲突。少数几个白人角色反而还真实一点。
整部电影都是在靠主角姐姐的脸在撑着，电影总是在该干什么事的时候不干什么事。
母亲逝世遗留的创伤、热门单曲的打造过程、对黑人民权运动的参与、跟几位生命中重要男人的对抗，导演几乎什么都想讲一点，最后就呈现出一席毫无重点的流水账。
剪辑差点意思，但是目前这分也太低了，拉一把
