After a holiday visit with his parents, Mikey is headed to the airport to return to his wife and newborn baby. Except he doesn’t board the plane. Instead he returns to his parents’ loft in lower Manhattan, back to his childhood room that has since been converted to storage. Unsure of his own motivations, he makes up excuses about why he’s staying – his flight is delayed, his flight is cancelled. A day passes, and then another, and he calls home and work to say he can’t return just yet – his parents are getting old, his parents are ill, time is too short. His doting mother is more than happy to enable his procrastination, while his artist father is suspicious. From afar, his confused wife grows increasingly unsettled. Meanwhile Mikey moves back into his room, digging out notebooks and mementos, calling on old friends. 看的憋屈但女性情绪现实，要不在生娃之前多看看这种电影有没有被唤醒的内心，年轻时造什么孽到点了都会还什么债，要么别生更自私点想清楚了年轻男女们，准备一辈子还不完的人情债……

还是有黑暗的真相，一生之痛并非丧女的亏欠感，而是抛夫弃女。这在固有的人伦经验里似不多久，母爱被看作与生俱来天经地义，贤妻也是很多人一生的事业，但对于那些并不愿走在世俗路上的人，该怎样对待犯下的过错？该怎样平衡自己的感受与他人的注视？该怎样验证和传递自己的正确性？WYT

Olivia真美。社会规训没得跑，女性在这样的结构内究竟能如何，所谓“天然的爱”真的是规训意义大于本身的。但是我也会想，生育不养育，或者不生育，就能解决大部分问题吗？好像也不是，自己内心要怎么面对呢？生育吊诡如人生：不经历不知道里面的苦痛，经历了就无法回头。
额，不是太理解啦，也不太能感同身受，虽然我也是一个深陷育儿和职场，被家庭琐事闷到窒息的妈妈，只能庆幸自己还有双方父母可以分担，没那么多自我实现的抱负和梦想，有一个空闲的下午看书逛街拍照，就已经很满足了。女儿还算乖巧贴心，没那么多让人烦躁的习惯，当然，也可能是渐渐忘记了她小时候整晚整晚哭闹不睡，累到崩溃的时候吧。无论是深陷生活的泥沼，还是突破藩篱找寻自我，不后悔自己的决定是最重要的。没有对错，只有值不值得。
三星半。看到后半程想起《我的天才女友》第二季的海滩度假戏，看完才发现这片的编剧之一就是埃莱娜·费兰特，我说呢~
电影里她格格不入，说话刻薄又神经。还把她刻画的孤独可怜。什么鬼片
叙事性不强，但个人感觉又不属于非叙事电影，更像是由各种互文，隐喻，符号的碎片堆砌起来的东西。作为首作来说还算可以。
各方面都很优秀以致于完全不像处女作。母亲 女儿 娃娃各种隐藏/替换身份的指代 紧张奏效的炸弹设置 题目里的LOST也是一语三关：丢失、迷失、失去。确实至少值一个最佳改编剧本。只不过我是单纯不喜欢这个故事 个人价值观所致。
偷走娃娃的另一种解读：女儿没有娃娃会更加折磨母亲，她想看着那位年轻母亲生活地愈加疲惫，而合理化自己当初抛弃女儿们的行为。
音乐好听。Paul Mescal，Jake Lacey后新一代男花瓶？

三星。中规中矩的导演处女作，但对感情的把控无疑是细腻的。
Struggling to decide whether I like the film, the entire casting, or Maggie Gyllenhaal. A bit rough at the beginning. The best cast credit card I've seen. The score is so good that even I noticed it, also Peter Sarsgaard's chest hair... I think I love this film.
