The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 顶着部分画面所带来的略微的生理不适，我还是看完了。对于剧情和画面，我只能分别说，我看不懂，但我大受震撼。也许剧情在本片压根不重要，画面才是导演想让你关注的所在。猎奇至极。据说是历时30年才完成的，可敬可敬，但也确实难以称之为好看。

评论一个个都好有文化。我就看不懂，但我大为震撼，就像做了一个阴暗潮湿又血淋淋的梦。
电影结尾写着Munich Agreement为英国及联盟换来时间备战，就像高赞说的—导演脑中的片名其实是<张伯伦: 被误解的英雄>。讽刺的是，1938年英法德意搞定了Settlement of the Czechoslovak ，把Sudetenland拱手相让给德国，而捷克只能任人宰割。
